KATIE Price has taken a swipe at ex Kieran Hayler as she has banned her boyfriend Carl Woods from carrying out a 'cheesy' Christmas proposal.
The 42-year-old has made no secret about wanting to walk down the aisle with her toyboy beau, 31 – but insisted against a festive engagement like her third husband had done previously.
Speaking to The Sun Online last week at the launch of her Scented by Katie Price bath bombs, the former glamour model said she wanted to be surprised when Carl gets down on one knee.
She told us: "There is no way he will give me a ring at Christmas – it is too cliché. He will do it when I least expect it."
To which former Love Island star Carl said: "She wont even know it is coming."
Katie comment's appeared to take aim at her third husband Kieran who proposed to her on Christmas Day in 2012 after a whirlwind romance.
The pair had met over online chat service Blackberry Messenger in November 2012, and just two months later they tied the knot in the Bahamas on January 16, 2013.
In March 2013 they had their wedding blessed in Weston-super-Mare. It was Katie's third marriage, after cage fighter Alex Reid and singer Peter Andre.
The couple, who are parents to Jett and Bunny, then renewed their vows once more in October 2016 in Barbados after jetting off on a make or break holiday.
However it wasn't meant to be for the pair and they split for good in 2018 after Katie discovered Kieran had cheated on her for the third time with their nanny.
Their divorce was finalised earlier this year and in March Kieran got engaged to Michelle Penticost.
Meanwhile, The Sun Online exclusively revealed that Katie said she'll be married to boyfriend Carl and pregnant with her sixth baby this time next year.
The former Loose Women panellist insisted 2021 will be a big year for her and Carl – with the pair even trademarking the name "Price Woods".
She told us: "We know we are going to get married and have kids.
We have trademarked the name Price Woods.
"I am so excited. It is so nice to be with a man that doesn’t want to be famous. There are lots of Mr Prices out there, but there are no Mr Woods.
"When we do get married I will change my name. Katie Woods. I have never done that before. We are trying for a baby, yes. Hopefully I will be pregnant and married (this time next year)."
