During Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain, ITV hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley spoke with Secretary of State Liz Truss about coronavirus vaccines being made compulsory for care home workers and how the Australia trade deal is affecting UK farmers. However, the interview soon got rather heated between the ITV host and the MP after Reid pushed Truss for answers about how the deal will benefit British farmers.

Reid began the interview by pointing out farmers are extremely worried by the deal because it might “close down opportunities” for those in Britain.

She went on to quiz Truss on whether she believes British farmers “don’t know what they are doing”.
